2009 U.s. Senior Open Announces Military Family Day - Free Admission During Practice Rounds
The 2009 U.S. Senior Open and the United States Golf Association Grants and Fellowship Department, will honor the contingent of military in Indiana and around the country by hosting Military Family Days during Championship Week Practice Rounds Monday, July 27 - Wednesday, July 29 at Crooked Stick Golf Club.
All military personnel, both active and retired and with proper identification, will receive free admission during Practice Rounds along with a 20% discount coupon valid in the merchandise tent for themselves and their families.
"Crooked Stick and the U.S. Senior Open are proud to host servicemen and servicewomen throughout the country," said Steve Baker and Tom Buck, Championship General Co-Chairmen. "Through this promotion we can show our support and appreciation for our retired and active duty military personnel by offering them the opportunity to experience a first-class major golf championship at The Stick."

About the U.S. Senior Open: The 30th U.S. Senior Open to be held July 27 - Aug 2, 2009, will bring a field of 156 of the world's best professional and amateur Senior (over the age of 50) golfers to Crooked Stick Golf Club. Featured players expected to compete include Greg Norman, Tom Watson, Hale Irwin, Fuzzy Zoeller, Tom Lehman, Bernhard Langer, Fred Funk and Mark O'Meara.
