Hamilton County is just minutes north of Indianapolis and is truly a community dedicated to golf. Well all of them of course! Impossible to choose one but if you played the 3 courses on the Pete Dye Golf Trail are really special - The Fort, Brickyard Crossing and Plum Creek.

Plum Creek and Bear Slide are two hidden gems!


After golf, what are the "must do" things or attractions to see?
After golfing, Hamilton County has an endless amount of things to do.

Head over to Carmel, Indiana to explore the music, theater and performing arts scene. You won't want to miss out on the unique art and home goods at the Indiana Design Center and discovering the shops along the Indiana Glass Trail.

If you're looking for a European feel, from small boutiques to amazing local restaurants, make sure you visit Noblesville, Indiana. Explore the rich history of Potters Bridge Park, Hamilton County's very own covered bridge and during the summer, catch a national act at the Klipsch Music Center.

For Civil War buffs, you won't want to miss Conner Prairie Interactive History Park in Fishers, Indiana. Once you've worked up an appetite, jump on the Tenderloin Trail for your choice of locally-owned restaurants.

What is the best time to travel?
Hamilton County is a great destination year around, but golfers find the spring, summer and fall are best for golfing.
